Who are we?

The VW Fleet Volkswagen Club started back in late 1997 when a few mates decided to join a VW Club, but were unable to find one which suited us. We were looking for a club who didn't care how standard, or how modified your car was, didn't get tied up in committees, membership fees or newsletters & basically wanted to hang out, have a good time & go to a few shows together and help each other out in the garage. We couldn't find a club in our area to fit the bill, so we decided to start our own.

Since then there has been no stopping us - We now have a good sized membership, with lots of knowledgeable members, always willing to advise or help out with anything you need on your air cooled VW. We enjoy members discounts with some local VW related firms & many of our vehicles have appeared on TV on various motoring shows, thanks to our line up at Bug Jam.

We meet up every 1st and 3rd Thursday at the Rose and Thistle in Frimley Green for a social drink & a chat. These days, we fill most of the conservatory in the pub, as well as a fair part of the car park.

We also have the South Coast Crew down in Bournemouth which has been going a number of years now. They meet up on the last sunday of the month at the Toby Inn, Castle Lane, Bournemouth.

Both Clubs always meet up for the shows and we also try to visit each others club meets and arrange cruises.
